To reflect the PVRI activities and to fulfill our educational commitments the “PVRI REVIEW” will be published quarterly as from January 2009 both online (open access) which will allow free access to its contents and in hard print. The Journal is supported by the Supported by the PVRI in the Indian Subcontinent taskforce.

Scope of the Journal
It will not be a venue for original articles but it will be a newsletter which will include educational reviews and will serve as an avenue  connecting the North and the South (developed and the developing world).  It will be published in English, but there will be simultaneous editions in other languages such as Portuguese, Spanish and Arabic.

  1. Mini Reviews (1000-5000 words and 50 key references maximum )
  2. Case reports (to reflect your practice or the experience in the developing world for educational purposes)
  3. Images reports (like the case reports but with comprehensive legends and references)
  4. Slide Forum (selected slides with some commentaries and references from the PVRI faculty presentations)
  5. Literature scan (on topics of interest with some commentaries on each or group of references to be a source of learning and guide for further readings) 
  6. Papers commentaries (educational editorials with reflections on recent publications and meetings
  7. The journal will be in full colour and we encourage illustrations and figures
