Dear all,

Cape Town is absolutely beautiful and I look forward to welcoming you all to the Conference!
Please note: CHANGES TO THE ANNUAL MEETING PROGRAM HERE: http://www.pvri.info/content/6th-pvri-annual-general-meeting-5th-scientific-workshops-debates
The AGM will now start on Tuesday at 9:00am, instead of 10:30am. This is the main change in the program- however, the new program is more detailed and also contains locations of all the meetings and details on the shuttle bus where appropriate. Please note that shuttle buses will be provided to bring people to and from the Gala Dinner on Thursday evening. Pick up will be in the Protea at 18:00.
Likewise, shuttle buses will also be provided for those attending Wednesday Small Group Dinner meetings-pick up will also be in the Protea.
These details and changes are highlighted in the program here: http://www.pvri.info/content/6th-pvri-annual-general-meeting-5th-scientific-workshops-debates
LIVESTREAMING CAPE TOWN:
After a very successful Canterbury based test of live streaming the meeting, we have tried the equipment again in Cape Town but are unable to get the same high quality results. Therefore we have decided to restrict the broadcast to Thursday 9th of February Right Ventricular Meeting. Please get in touch at nkrol@imperial.ac.uk if you are interested, and you will be provided with a link to watch it. However, be advised that the broadcast is subject to connection speed.
I took the picture above today, and have uploaded several more to the PVRI Facebook. From tomorrow onwards I will be tweeting and facebooking images and observations in Cape Town- don't hesitate to friend us on Facebook or to follow us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/pvri
You are welcome to direct tweets at us and so participate in the discussion- simply add the hashtag #PVRICT and we will be able to see what you say and respond on Twitter.
See you all soon in sunny Cape Town!
Nikki

Dear All,
Many have enquired about the arrangements with regards to airport pick up. PVRI will arrange for pick up from the airport to all the hotels- but this is one way only and does not include your trip back to the airport. I have received a number of itineraries already, but urge you to fill out the 'airport pick up' form at the link:
Please do this even if you have previously send me your itinerary. This way all information is in the same place.
The pickups will be finalised January 31st. After this date, amendments may still be made but new fares cannot be accepted. I will send out an email on the Wednesday the 25th of January to everyone who has arranged pick-up. If you do NOT receive an email from me then, and you do require airport pick up, please fill out the form here: http://pvri.info/content/airport-pick
and contact me immediately for confirmation here: mailto:nkrol@imperial.ac.uk
The pick up is being organized in collaboration with a highly recommended Cape Town based company. All delegates who use the service will be asked to provide their own fare. Costs will be from R175pp – single will be R250.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to leave a comment or email me.
See you soon!
Nikki
